A simple recipe to make traditional and crispy churros

When it comes to traditional desserts around the world, the Spanish churros cannot be missed. Although they are crispy outside, we can feel softness inside them, and it is really delicious! So, today we are going to discover how to make churros with easy instruction. Now, let’s get started.


For this amount of ingredients, we can make about 10 pieces.

100ml water


65g flour

50g dark chocolate

50g heavy cream


20g sugar

1 tsp of cinnamon

How to make delicious churros

Step 1: Boil 100ml water, and 1tbsp of oil

Step 2: Turn the heat off, add 65g of flour into the boiled water, then stir it until we have a smooth dough. If you want to have a better dough, you can knead the dough with your hands.

Step 3: Put the dough into a piping bag having a star tip, and then set it aside.

Step 4: Crush 50g of dark chocolate, and put them in a bowl. Next, heat  50g of heavy cream, and put into the bowl having crushed dark chocolate, then stir them well in about 2 mins or until the chocolate is melted.

Step 5: Heat the frying oil to 350F. Then, pipe the dough into the oil, use a clipper to cut it at any length that you want them to have. Let them in the pan for 5 mins or until they have a golden brown color.

Step 6: Remove them from the pan, and then put in on the grease proof paper.

Step 7: Now, we are going to make the coat for your churros. Mix 20g of sugar and 1 tsp of cinnamon, and then roll the churros in the mixture. It is done for the coat of the churros.

Step 8: Serve the churros on a dish, then dip them into the chocolate mixture, and enjoy our delicious dessert.
