Today, we are going to find out how to make one of the best traditional Thai food, and it is Pad Thai. It is really simple, and anyone is able to do it. Now, let’s get started!
Preparation
100g processed peanuts
1 lemon
2 tablespoons of fish sauce
1 tablespoon of sriracha
1 ½ of brown sugar
¼ teaspoon of dark soy sauce (optional)
1 tablespoon of Pickled radish
50g tofu
2 garlic cloves
20g chives
1 shallot
1 chicken thigh
50g noodles
Oil
2 shrimps
1 egg
1 ½ cups of bean sprouts
How to cook Pad Thai
Step 1: Crush 100g peanuts, and leave it there
Step 2: Now, we are about to make the sauce. Put lemon juice, 2 tablespoon of fish sauce, 1 tablespoon of sriracha, 1 ½ of brown sugar, and ¼ teaspoon of dark soy sauce for the color if you want. And we have the sauce for Pad Thai
Step 3: Cut 1 tablespoon of pickled radish into small square pieces.
Step 4: Cut 50g tofu into small pieces. Before cutting it, you can absorb water from the tofu by a piece of dry tissue. Next, chop 2 garlic cloves, and 20g chives in 5cm pieces.
Step 5: Chop 1 shallot, cut 1 chicken thigh into small square pieces
Step 6: Put 50g dry noodles in the water in 3 mins. After that, wash with the cold water. Then, put some oil, chicken and tofu in a pan, and turn the heat on, and leave it there until brown.
Step 7: Put the shallot, pickled radish, garlic into the pan, and stir them well until the shallot turns to be a little bit brown. Then, put noodles, the sauce we made and 2 shrimps into it, then wait until the noodles are fully cooked.
Step 8: Put 1 egg and stir it softly on one side of the pan, then mix them with others. Add 1 ½ cups of bean sprouts and chives. Serve it on a dish, and then we have a delicious Pad Thai dish.
